React.js OR Vue.js Developer

As a Senior Front End Developer, your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js/Vue.js workflows.

You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product is important. You will launch and improve websites for top-tier colleges and universities using our core product frameworks.

Let's talk about You:

4-5 years of experience building modern web applications
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business experience
Familiarity with industry-standard tools necessary to do your job
Respect and understanding of other disciplines; including User Experience, Product Development, Quality and Release
Web technology: NodeJS, ReactJS, Vue.Js, Bootstrap

Your area of responsibility and growth:

Strong HTML/CSS skills
Comfortable building responsive websites
Can implement UI/UX designs with detailed accuracy
Capable of building cross-browser compatible websites based on audience requirements (sometimes even IE 9+)
Familiar with WCAG 2.1 website accessibility guidelines
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js/Vue.js and its core principles
Experience with Redux and redux-thunk/redux-saga
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Proficiency with git. And knowledge of different git workflows
Familiarity with Jest, Enzyme/react-testing-library
Proficient in CSS/SASS
Experience with Flow and/or TypeScript
Bonus points for CSS-in-JS experience. E.g. styled-components, emotion, etc.
Bonus points for experience with Material UI.
