About the project

Boostr is a venture-backed enterprise software company building solutions for the media & advertising industry. Frustrated by generic, horizontal CRM products, the founders decided to build the platform they wish they had as operators at Yahoo. We started with a CRM platform that’s disrupting how media sales teams are managed to result in time savings, increased forecast accuracy and revenue growth. Then we introduced an Order Management (OMS) product disrupting the market with the first omnichannel solution. Now we’re the only platform with a single CRM+OMS to manage the entire workflow. The best part, we’re just getting started and have an exciting roadmap of new products and features that will change the advertising world.

For the technical:

This is not your ordinary application. You will be working with Silicon Valley insiders that have built database internals (Postgres), and enterprise-scale systems such as Salesforce and Siebel systems. You will be building the next generation of enterprise-level infrastructure. You will be implementing and testing more than just another website. You will be learning techniques that allow infrastructure to scale to 1000’s of B2B customers and 100,000s of users. The infrastructure will allow those customers to define their own custom fields, define their own algorithms, organize their UI’s, etc. Much like most other SaaS solutions Boostr will scale to a level that is not typically seen in a web app.

You will be working on:

Configurable UI — allowing the customers to define their own UI

Self-describing APIs — these allow for the Configurable UI to understand what the UI is capable of

Scale of the infrastructure to the next level.

Let's talk about You:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in developing RoR based web applications, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Proven track record of leading backend development projects from concept to production
  • Excellent knowledge of Ruby, Rails, Postgres, Redis, and Sidekiq
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including a deep understanding of algorithms and data structuresv
  • Proficient in creating technical design documents for implementing features
  • Hands-on on experience with using telemetry tools like Datadog and Rollbar for reliability and performance improvement
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Expert at delivering high quality code using unit and integrated tests
  • Advanced knowledge of scaling cloud based application; familiarity with Angular is a strong plus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Ruby on Rails backend systems
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Architect high quality, scalable and maintainable backend solutions that align with business objectives
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

      This position is responsible to work with all LATAM region consultants and guarantee that people are happy and well suited for their position. 

      This person will work closely with HR Team Lead, LATAM General Manager and PMs to make sure the LATAM Team is well, productive and happy about their job.

      Role and Responsibilities:

      • Providing full scope of HR service (excluding recruitment)
      • Onboarding new employees
      • Organization of corporate webinars for employees training and development
      • Identifying the T&D needs, arranging relevant training activities, creation and supervision of planned individual development of specialists, promoting the mentorship within the assigned team
      • Running the performance review process (conversation on the results of work, collecting and providing feedback, organizing technical interviews)
      • Monitoring the mood of specialists and job satisfaction within the project, regular 1on1 meetings with specialists, providing feedback to line managers
      • Development of corporate culture and wellbeing
      • Planning and executing team building activities

      Required skills:

      • 4+ years of experience as HR
