Boostr is a venture-backed enterprise software company building solutions for the media & advertising industry. Frustrated by generic, horizontal CRM products, the founders decided to build the platform they wish they had as operators at Yahoo. We started with a CRM platform that’s disrupting how media sales teams are managed to result in time savings, increased forecast accuracy and revenue growth. Then we introduced an Order Management (OMS) product disrupting the market with the first omnichannel solution. Now we’re the only platform with a single CRM+OMS to manage the entire workflow. The best part, we’re just getting started and have an exciting roadmap of new products and features that will change the advertising world.
Key Stats:
— We’re inventing what the future looks like enabling our customers to realize their GTM strategies
— 5 years young
— 60+ employees — 30 on technical team
— $13m + in funding, inclusive of a $7M Series A in July 2020, from Vocap Investment Partners, Bertelsmann Digital Media, Lightspeed, WGI, C2Ventures, Math Capital and the “who’s who” of media insiders
— We work with industry leaders — Buzzfeed, Outfront, Electronic Arts, Vevo, Complex, Match Media, Axios
— Growing over 100% YoY
For the technical:
This is not your ordinary application. You will be working with Silicon Valley insiders that have built database internals (Postgres), and enterprise-scale systems such as Salesforce and Siebel systems. You will be building the next generation of enterprise-level infrastructure. You will be implementing and testing more than just another website. You will be learning techniques that allow infrastructure to scale to 1000’s of B2B customers and 100,000s of users. The infrastructure will allow those customers to define their own custom fields, define their own algorithms, organize their UI’s, etc. Much like most other SaaS solutions Boostr will scale to a level that is not typically seen in a web app.
You will be working on:
Configurable UI — allowing the customers to define their own UI
Self-describing API’s — these allow for the Configurable UI to understand what the UI is capable of.
Dynamic queries
Going beyond an ORM (Object relationship model)
Scale of the infrastructure to N-level.

This includes systems in both private data centers and over a hundred accounts in aws. Our scope of responsibilities is vast, and would take an entire page to list here. Suffice it to say that we are the go-to team for questions about the interface boundaries that lie between these two halves of the company, as well as the deep inner workings of the legacy half.
About The SiteOps Team
As an Operations Engineer on the SiteOps team you will be a force multiplier for our engineering & operations teams, delivering tooling & infrastructure that not only has a direct impact on day to day operations, but also helps contribute to the future evolution of Infrastructure & Engineering here at the project. You’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability, and scalability of our services.

As a SiteOps Engineer you will be involved in designing and implementing how we perform those migrations, testing those migrations, and then performing them with a “no surprises in production” mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring and logging systems to proactively detect and address potential issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, in environments like on-prem Prometheus/Thanos, as well as Grafana Cloud and Grafana Cloud Loki.
- Database Management: Manage hundreds of on-prem PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to improve the overall development and deployment processes.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements:
- At least 3-4 years in the same or similar position.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable infrastructures
- Strong proficiency in Python 2 and Python 3 for scripting and automation tasks
- Expertise in configuration management using Ansible
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and experience in managing PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Github Actions
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus
