Node.js Developer

Our project is to create a desk booking application for a client that has about 3,500 users and over 40 offices. The application will be on the desktop and as an iOS application. The technical stack will be two front ends iOS and a React website. The backend will be in node.js with options to use Typescript.

This is a multi-phase project with the MVP due within 5 months and a backlog of scope outside the MVP that is considerable.

Our projectis an American publicly traded advertising company. The company consists of five major networks, as well as a number of independent specialty agencies in the areas of public relations, sports marketing, talent representation, and healthcare. It is one of the “Big Four” agency companies, alongside WPP, Publicis and Omnicom.

Let's talk about You:

At least 4 years of experience in software development and design
4+ years expertise with Node.js
Proficiency with ES6, JavaScript, jQuery and other JS libraries
Expertise in component life cycle events
Good understanding of NPM modules, grunt, gulp etc
Good understanding of HTTP request and response
Understanding of different form factors such as desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile etc
Good debugging skills
Good understanding of web pack
Intermediate spoken and written English communication skills

It would be great if You also:

Expertise in implementing React Router
Hands-on experience in integrating the React app with Restful/Microservices

Responsible for development of new highly-responsive, web-based user interface
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
Implement complex business logic at client side
Responsible for automating unit test case
Perform client-side validations
Collaborate with UX and VD for enhanced user experience
Work with Business Analysts and Solution Managers to address requirement questions
Participate in team meetings, Scrum calls and client meetings
