DevOps Engineer (GCP/ AWS)

Let's talk about You:

• 4+ years performing as a DevOps
• Experience with a cloud provider AWS ( EB, EC2, RDS, Elasticache) is a must
• GCP experience will be a plus
• Large distributed systems experience
• RDS experience
• "Infrastructure as a Service" mindset and experience
• Strong familiarity with Linux Administration (System/Network/Security), knowledge of Windows machines administration
• Knowledge of deploying and running applications in VMs, Docker containers, Kubernetes
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD
• Previous experience supporting prod environment in a large scale applications for multiple development teams
• Strong knowledge of network concepts
• Knowledge of monitoring tools
• Support full cycle of the development process using Tf for dev teams
• Experience with the large scale migrations from cloud to cloud (from 50 VMs and higher)

• GCP experience
• Management of the ElasticSearch service (not servers with ElasticSearch)
• Terraform certified

Your area of responsibility and growth:

• Work with customer application teams to define and create application migration plans
• Ownership of the workload migration from on-premise to cloud, cloud to cloud
• Create and manage cloud resources need for the migrations, take decision on the infrastructure
• Rethinking cloud strategy for business growth and cost optimisation using your cloud experience
• Understand and identify cloud-native services that can be leveraged as the traditional on-premise model shifts to a cloud-native service offering
• Manage multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and customer / application teams
