About the project

Boostr is a venture-backed enterprise software company building solutions for the media & advertising industry. Frustrated by generic, horizontal CRM products, the founders decided to build the platform they wish they had as operators at Yahoo. We started with a CRM platform that’s disrupting how media sales teams are managed to result in time savings, increased forecast accuracy and revenue growth. Then we introduced an Order Management (OMS) product disrupting the market with the first omnichannel solution. Now we’re the only platform with a single CRM+OMS to manage the entire workflow. The best part, we’re just getting started and have an exciting roadmap of new products and features that will change the advertising world.

For the technical:

This is not your ordinary application. You will be working with Silicon Valley insiders that have built database internals (Postgres), and enterprise-scale systems such as Salesforce and Siebel systems. You will be building the next generation of enterprise-level infrastructure. You will be implementing and testing more than just another website. You will be learning techniques that allow infrastructure to scale to 1000’s of B2B customers and 100,000s of users. The infrastructure will allow those customers to define their own custom fields, define their own algorithms, organize their UI’s, etc. Much like most other SaaS solutions Boostr will scale to a level that is not typically seen in a web app.

You will be working on:

Configurable UI — allowing the customers to define their own UI

Self-describing APIs — these allow for the Configurable UI to understand what the UI is capable of

Scale of the infrastructure to the next level.

Let's talk about You:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in multi-team project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • 3+ years of direct experience in people and resource management; adept at leading teams to success while optimizing resource allocation and productivity
  • Project Management: Proficiency in applying both PMI and Agile principles, with a track record of implementing these methodologies based on the need of project environments
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated expertise in partnering with cross-functional teams, and coordinating individuals from diverse disciplines to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of technical design and web application concepts, enabling active participation in discussions and providing valuable insights, though not necessarily driving technical decisions
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills, capable of directing project operations and motivating teams to achieve set goals efficiently and effectively
  • Problem Solving: Expertise in problem-solving and solution proposal, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and offering innovative solutions rather than merely identifying problems
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and systems, enabling informed decision-making and alignment of project objectives with organizational goals
  • Expertise in Reporting: Proficiency in reporting project progress, risks, and path to recovery to the leadership team, utilizing clear and concise communication to provide timely updates and insights.

Will be a plus:

  • Certifications: Preference may be given to candidates holding relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in a growth startup may be advantageous
  • Team Leadership Experience: Experience leading and developing project teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to achieving project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines that identify resource and budgetary needs
  • Ensure project costs are under budget, recognizing and communicating risks that a project could experience delays or go over budget
  • Coordinate and manage communication between the PO, Dev team and other client teams to define requirements, project goals, status, and define delivery timeframes
  • Proficient in coordinating, organizing and formalizing discussions with internal and external clients
  • Detail-oriented and well organized. Able to track tasks and statuses at a granular level with developers and testers, able to facilitate and summarize technical discussions
  • Prepare portfolio status reports for leadership
  • Identify and document risks; communicate and escalate project issues as required
  • Coordinate with other PMs to accomplish organizational goals effectively
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to the team members
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments and organization
  • Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers
  • Facilitate the documentation of customer requirements and business process using document analysis, requirements workshops, business process description, and use case scenarios
